Shipping Questions:

Q: Once I place my order, when will it be shipped?

A: We ship same day or the following day you place your order. We do not ship on USA Federal Holidays as the Post Office is closed.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: Normal shipping times vary depending on where the package is shipping to.
We are located in the Pacific Northwest.
Therefore, it will take items longer to reach New York (for example) than they will take to reach California (for example).
But, normal shipping takes anywhere from 3 to 8 business days.
International shipping can take 8 to 14 business days, and we've even had it take up to 4 weeks to arrive in Australia. We are right under the west end of Canada...so it usually arrives pretty quickly there.

Q: Do you offer Expedited Shipping?

A: Yes, we do! Expedited Shipping MUST be requested by sending us an email at mark@laurielphotography.com. There is no option for it within the shopping cart, although you can choose 'Message to Seller' in PayPal. We will send you a seperate PayPal invoice for any difference in the Expedited Shipping amount.

Q: Do you ship everywhere?

A: Yes, we do. The only thing that would determine that we wouldn't ship something, is if it is cost prohibitive to ship it...such as our Sling Sticks to the UK and Australia.

Q: Tell me about your Fashion Photography Items. Are they new?

A: About 75% of our Fashion items are up-cycled vintage and current clothing items. Flaws are a normal process of up-cycled items. Small tears, threads or even un-removeable stains, or other imperfections may be seen on your products. But…this will not affect the beauty of the item when photographed.

The images you see on our shop were taken by me, a professional photographer. I do not photoshop out flaws or any imperfections in the items. You will receive exactly what you see in the image on the shop. The same EXACT item.

• Some of my corsets are new. I decorate all of them by hand.

• My floral headpieces and clip-ons are hand-made and one-of-a-kind.

• All up-cycled clothing has been washed in my home washer and dryer and is hygenically clean. Even if it says 'dry clean only' - I put it thru my washer and dryer test!

• Our skirts have had the normal waist removed, and a drawstring put into them so that they will fit most any size.

• All Fashion Photography items are one-of-a-kind. If an item is Sold Out, I won't be getting more. I am up-cycling items, and do not order them from somewhere where I can get quantities.

Know that we are an earth friendly company with two goals. To help save our planet by up-cycling items that would otherwise become land-fill one day (you’ll notice that even our shipping boxes are up-cycled!), and creating affordable items that every photographer can easily use over and over and create incredibly beautiful images with.

Returns and Exchanges

Q: Can I return my item if I just decide I don't like it, or it's not at all what I expected?

A: This needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis for tangible items, and we will work with you to help resolve your issue. Simply contact us directly at thepropshop@laurielphotography.com
For electronically downloaded items, we are unable to do returns under any circumstance, as we have no way to 'taking back' the item.

General Questions

Q: Is the store SECURE? I'm worried about my credit card information.

A. Our store uses PayPal for payments made on-line. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours, using the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL), with an encryption key length of 128 bits, which is the highest level commercially available. In short, YES!.
